The Vegetarian
Society of the District of Columbia (VSDC)
promote the benefits of vegetarianism
through educational and social
activities
throughout
the Washington DC metropolitan area, including
Maryland and northern
Virginia.
Our events are open to all, but we
encourage you to join
us to
support vegetarian living in the Washington
region. Members receive our
quarterly newsletter
and get discounts
at many area restaurants and other businesses
through our VSDC
GreenRewards™ program.
Consider
our speakers'
bureau if
you need someone to speak about vegetarianism
at an event.
VSDC is
a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, VSDC
is governed by an all-volunteer
elected board
. Additional
volunteers perform much of the work in
VSDC.
Our office is now
located in Herndon, VA. We don't have regular
hours, so any meeting needs to be arranged in
advance. Please use
our
post office
box for all normal
correspondence.
