Vegetarian Thanksgiving Celebration

Registration and appetizers start at noon and the meal starts just after 1:00pm. You must arrive by 1:00pm! 


The VSDC Life-Affirming Thanksgiving is an annual event that brings together vegetarians and non-vegetarians to enjoy compassionate and healthy food and a wonderful social setting.

Celebrate Thanksgiving Day with hundreds of people enjoying a gourmet vegan feast at the Hyatt Regency Bethesda in Bethesda, MD. The VSDC Life-Affirming Thanksgiving is an annual event that brings together vegetarians and non-vegetarians to enjoy compassionate and healthy food and a wonderful social setting. This has been a very successful event for years so we feel confident that you will leave pleased again this year!

SPEAKER

Our guest speaker will be Dr. Will Tuttle, author of The World Peace Diet, pianist, former Zen monk, and tireless educator for a peaceful, vegan world. He will sign copies of his extraordinary book.

EVENT DETAILS
Additional socializing is planned after the meal, and non-profit exhibitors will be invited so you can learn about their great work. Door prizes will enable guests to acquire exciting vegan items and a live musical act may follow lunch. We will have special seating sections (e.g., tables marked for Singles, Family, or special needs) so please include special table requests with your registration and we’ll do our best to honor them.

Based on initial feedback from people who have registered, VSDC will continue with the open seating policy this year. So, please arrive early (shortly after 12), especially if you have a group of 3 or more.


RESERVATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED

RESERVATION CONFIRMATION
If you have registered online or mailed in a check, we will reserve your seat at this event. A confirmation with more details of the event will be sent as soon as possible. If you have not yet received a confirmation for your mailed-in reservation, and your check has not been deposited, please contact us. For online payments, you will receive a confirmation of the payment immediately, and your seat will be reserved.
 
DONATIONS

Please bring vegan, non-perishable food items as donations for the Community of Hope, so we can help them in their mission of improving the quality of life for homeless, low-income, and underserved families and individuals.
