DESCRIPTION:Please join the Veg Society of DC Book Club discussion of “Dear Committee Members” by Julie Schumacher. This meeting will take place online\, via Zoom. \nJason Fitger is a professor of creative writing and literature in the midwest. His once-promising writing career is in the doldrums\, as is his romantic life. His tale of woe is told in a series of humorous letters of recommendation that students and colleagues call on him to write. \nTo participate\, read at least half the book — and RSVP at least two days before the meeting.
