Join VSDC and a number of other groups for the Planet Bethesda Food, Music, and Fun Festival – an all-vegan event – “Bringing Together the Best of Bethesda and Beyond!” The event takes place on Sunday, June 5th, from 12 noon to 6 pm at the Elm Street Park in Bethesda MD. This will be an outdoor event.
This is Bethesda’s Premier World Environment Day Food, Music & Fun Festival and brings together the best of Bethesda – serving up small dishes of the most cutting edge, creative and delicious plant-based foods. The Planet Bethesda food festival will be held in conjunction with a World Environment Day celebration, plant-based pie eating contest (sponsored by The Red Bandana Bakery), live DJ music, a Kid’s Korner, Bier Garten, Canine Courtyard (sponsored by Elysiem) and more!
The event will be held rain or shine. The venue is Elm Street Park, just a two minute walk from the Bethesda Metro Station. You can park your car for FREE in lots 10 and 24.
Entry to Planet Bethesda and all activities are free to the public. Leashed dogs are welcome. Vendor food and beverages will be available for purchase and about a dozen food vendors are already signed up.

**For those who want to meet other VSDC meetup members, we will set a place (TBD) to gather at 1 pm. Then we can enjoy the festival as a group for those interested.**
