*Update: The Open House is 1 to 4 pm. VSDC and our meetup members will gather at 2 pm to meet one another, eat lunch together, and see the sanctuary. We will gather to the right of the small gift shop structure. Look for Saurabh, who will be wearing a green VSDC t-shirt. Then, the group will decide what to do. Terry Cummings, the co-founder, will say hello to our group and provide an overview of Poplar Spring at 3 pm.*
**The [Poplar Spring](https://www.animalsanctuary.org/) Annual Open House and Fundraiser is free and set for Sunday, September 29, 2024,** from **1 to 4 pm** Join [VSDC](www.vsdc.org) and hundreds of people as the Open House features a live band, catered food and drinks, and the opportunity to stroll around and visit the rescued animals. Again, there is no admission fee, but donations (of any amount) to Poplar Spring are very much appreciated.
**At 3 pm, Terry Cummings, the co-founder of Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary, will meet with our group and provide an overview of the sanctuary and its residents.**
Bring a chair, a water bottle, and anything else you need for this outdoor event.
