The Black Veg Society is hosting an online event to reflect and connect with others on the work of undoing racism while also protecting animals.
What Participants Will Get from the Session:
Get to know each other and ourselves through dialogue and self-reflection.
Language and thinking about Black veganism and anti-racism in animal advocacy.
Access to racial affinity spaces.
Activities are adapted from a workshop in
the SOUL Building Power Sharpening Minds manual (www.schoolofunityandliberation.org) and a training tool on the Training for Change website (www.trainingforchange.org/training_tools/building-virtual-rooms/).
