Please join the Veg Society of DC Book Club discussion of Brit Bennett’s Vanishing Half.
About twin sisters, inseparable as children, who ultimately choose to live in very different worlds, one black and one white. Takes place from the Deep South to California, from the 1950s to the 1990s. The New York Times named Vanishing Half one of the 10 best books of 2020.
To participate you must read at least half the book—and RSVP at least two days before the meeting.
The VSDC Book Club began meeting online in March 2020 (previously we met in vegetarian restaurants in DC or nearby Maryland or Virginia). People who RSVP yes will get the details to join the discussion (the weekend before the meeting). The details will not be posted on meetup.
