Please join the Veg Society of DC Book Club discussion of Jamie Raskin’s “Unthinkable: Trauma, Truth, and the Trials of American Democracy.” This meeting takes place online via zoom. For clarity, the group discusses the book. The author does not join us.
Jamie Raskin, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Takoma Park, Maryland, writes about the 45 days at the start of 2021 when he faced the tragic death of his (vegan) son, experienced the insurrection, and led the impeachment effort.
To participate you must read at least half the book—and RSVP at least two days before the meeting.

The VSDC Book Club began meeting online in March 2020 (previously we met in vegetarian restaurants in DC or nearby Maryland or Virginia). People who RSVP yes will get the details to join the discussion (during the week before the meeting). The details will not be posted on meetup.
