Happy Pride, everyone!!! Get your flags and rainbow gear ready~
VSDC is so excited to march in the Capital Pride Parade with FARM (Farm Animal Rights Movement) on Saturday, June 10th! This is the perfect time to celebrate our queerness and encourage kindness for all animals. We have spots available for marchers to come with creative signs and loud voices to extend community and share our love of love.
There is no fee for this event, and there should be plenty of vegan options along the streets. Anyone can come, no age requirements. Children are welcome as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
WHEN: Saturday, June 10th, 1:30pm-4ish
WHERE: Our staging point is 15th St NW & Rhode Island Ave NW by 1:30. The parade starts at 3. We will be getting everyone set up with literature and other things to hand out, etc.
PARKING: It’s going to be packed in the city so Metro is highly recommended (or Uber/Lyft). Street parking will be very hard to find but please do follow all parking signs and instructions.

*In an effort to reduce no shows for space-limited events, we are now tracking those who fail to show up and do not change their RSVP beforehand. After three strikes you’re out – meaning that you will not be able to attend future space-limited VSDC events. It is unfair to those on the waitlist and to the restaurant when there are no-shows.*
