Join VSDC for a friendly gathering on Thanksgiving Day at Elife Vegan Restaurant in Takoma Park, DC. VSDC is pleased to organize this gathering on this special day of gratitude with our good friends at Elife. (For this year, we are organizing a smaller, more cozy event than our large gala with hundreds of people as in most other years.)
Please be sure to come hungry and order from Elife’s delicious soul food menu, offering more traditional Thanksgiving options as well as some of their favorites – all veganized of course! Each person will order food and beverages and pay on their own to the restaurant directly.
Elife normally closes at 5 pm but will stay open until 6 pm for us for an extra hour of socializing and mingling. VSDC is planning a fun activity during that last hour.
Elife is located about 1 block from the Takoma metro on the Red line. Street parking should be readily available on the Thanksgiving holiday – please read and follow all parking signs.
RSVP only if you’re sure you will come that day because we want to have as many people come as possible; the numbers will be limited due to limited indoor space. ****Don’t be a no-show** – if you decide you cannot come, change your RSVP 24 hours or farther in advance if possible, so people from the waitlist will be moved in automatically.**
