Spring is here, and it’s a great time for the [Veg Society of DC](vsdc.org) and our meetup members to share the kind, vegan lifestyle with people at the DC Cherry Blossom Festival. FARM is hosting a MeatOut event, and they need friendly volunteers to help spread ideas about kindness, caring for the planet, and share samples of delicious vegan food.
No experience is needed—everyone is welcome. Help create a kinder world, one conversation and vegan sample at a time. Event host Cady will be there throughout the event, and Kathryn will be there at the start. Look for them and for people with MeatOut signs like the photo above.
**Location:** At 12 noon, please meet at the corner of Independence Ave and Maine Ave in SW DC. Then some volunteers will go to nearby areas to spread the word further.
We will put any more details we can about where the group is located in the comments section, so check there if you are having any trouble finding the group the day of the event.
**Transportation**
We highly recommend taking public transportation, as parking is nearly impossible to find during the Cherry Blossom Festival.
