**DO NOT DELAY** as tickets may sell out.

The Exam Room Podcast will feature the Esselsyns, the First Family of Plant-Based Nutrition.

**Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn** pioneered a plant-based diet to prevent and reverse heart disease and his research was featured in the groundbreaking documentary *Forks Over Knives*. **Son Rip** and **daughter Jane** are also tireless educators about the benefits of a plant-based diet. Rip was a firefighter in the Austin Fire Department when he discovered dangerously high cholesterol levels among his firefighter comrades and led a station-wide dietary revolution, which he detailed in his bestselling book, *The Engine 2 Diet*. Jane is a wellness instructor and a plant-strong presenter and cook. She co-authored *The Prevent & Reverse Heart Disease Cookboo*k with her mother, Ann, and developed recipes for *My Beef with Meat*. **Wife and mother, Ann**, is a plant-based force of nature! She has devoted herself to inventing recipes and never stops devising ever more practical and powerful ways to shop, cook, and engage even the most reluctant eaters in the plant-perfect diet. Ann and Jane have authored a brand-new book *Be A Plant-Based Woman Warrior*. The Esselstyns continue to promote the power of plant-based nutrition for reversing and preventing lifestyle-related diseases through The Esselstyn Family Foundation. The entire family hosts an annual PLANTSTRONG retreat to educate and inspire others to live their healthiest lives and on November 7 they are bringing their wisdom and enthusiasm to Washington, DC, for one night only!

You are very welcome to join us for just the dinner portion of the evening if you wish. Just let us know!
